Daily Holistics is borne from founder Sophie Daly’s personal approach for keeping on track and making the best of every day.
There is no such thing as a perfect life. Life, by its very nature, is full of ups and downs, bright moments and darker moments. We cannot have one without the other. Without darkness, light cannot exist. Without sorrow, joy cannot exist. Without some stress, we cannot feel what it is to relax. We must have these opposing forces, otherwise it is impossible to create any kind of balance in life. It can be easy to feel consumed by the more negative emotions when we are going through a difficult time; it can feel like the light is gone forever. Remember this: the light must exist, otherwise there would be no darkness, or negative emotion, at all.
The answer is not to turn our back to the difficult parts of life, and only face the easy moments. We need to step away and allow ourselves to view both ends of the scale in their entirety.
